Las Vegas Market is Kind to Both Renters/Landlords

In Business Las Vegas has reported that has named Las Vegas the fourth best market in the country for renters and the seventh best market for landlords. Why both? Las Vegas is a landlord’s market because vacancy is below the national average and there is strong job growth (three times the national average). Las Vegas is a renter’s market because of the inventory of condo conversions homes that has encouraged concessions and lower rents.

Over the long term, landlords are in a good position because a lack of land to build multifamily units and the growth of the labor force from the opening of new resorts
