In a tough seller’s environment, having an edge on the competition is crucial. The U.S. Housing and Urban Development reports that a staged house sells, on average, for 17% more than a non-staged house. A survey also finds that owners who spent up to $1000 staging their house recovered almost 200% of the cost in the sale of their house.
