Median Homes Prices Hit $200,000 in Las Vegas

For the first time since August 2008, median home prices have reached $200,000, the Review Journal reported today.    That is, half of all sales were below $200,000 and half were above $200,000.  There were 2,642 sales in July.  MLS sales may be broken down as follows.  109 units sold for $100,000 or less.  There were 381 sales between $101,000 and $150,000.  Between $151,000 and $200,000, there were 603 houses sold.  641 houses sold between $201,000 and $300,000.  248 sales were between $301,000 and $400,000.  Between $401,000 and $500,000 there were 101 closings and there were 81 sales over $501,000.
