A a native Pacific Northwesterner, I was thrilled to find out that a great grocery store headquartered in Washington State will be moving into seven locations in Las Vegas. Haggen is a grocery that started in Bellingham, WA (near the Canadian border) and grew into a chain with locations in Washington and Oregon. Haggen is like a combination of Von’s, Sprouts and Whole Foods. They’ll be taking over stores currently occupied by Vons and Albertsons. Here’s where the stores will be located, according to Vegasinc.
* Vons: 1031 Nevada Highway, Boulder City; 7530 W. Lake Mead Blvd., Las Vegas; 1940 Village Center Circle, Las Vegas; and 820 S. Rampart Blvd., Las Vegas.
* Albertsons: 2910 Bicentennial Parkway, Henderson; 575 College Drive, Henderson; and 190 N. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
