Seaquest Interactive Aquarium located in the Boulevard Mall in Las Vegas has some great new exhibits that I am dying to check out.
You can now play with and feed River Otters, Coatimundis and Capybaras.
The small-clawed River Otters have been on display for just a few weeks. They are native to SE Asia. Guests are invited to meet the Otters and feed them small fish. Guests sit on the floor and hold out handfuls of food while the otters climb over them and eat.
The coatimundis have been on exhibit since December but have only recently been available for guest interaction. They are part of the raccoon family. They use their small hands to get dry pellets and bananas out of guests hands.
The Capybaras are the worlds largest rodents. They are native to South America. They are also available to interact with and feed.
The new mammals aren’t the only ones that are available for interaction. There are also birds, reptiles and other mammals on display and available for interaction.
The cost to go in to the Aquarium is $12.95 for adults and $8.95 for children. It is located inside the Boulevard Mall at 3528 S. Maryland Parkway in Las Vegas.
I know that Olga and I are going to try and get out there to see all of the exotic animals that are on display. If anyone has already gone please let me know how it went.
